Produced in the state of Oaxaca, Mexico, at Casa Armando Guillermo Prieto, which is the leading mezcal distillery in Mexico, Zignum Mezcal Reposado is made from 100% espadin agave and aged for at least 8 months in American white oak. The agave used in this mezcal are not smoked, so it will not have a smokey character. It has a light body with notes of raisins, banana, and vanilla.
Zignum , meaning "spearhead", is recognized as an exceptionally smooth and fine Mezcal.
